The Helcat is a quiet revolution, a stealthy innovation in it's own right. Long having mastered the secrets of hiding, tracking, and killing, the Helcat is one of the few Zoids that can escape Scout Radar with little detection. The innovation is in it's armor plating, which is covered in optical camouflage It takes constant samples from the environment, projecting images that mirror what is passing. A well camouflaged Helcat looks like nothing more then heat distortion. The drawbacks to the Helcat are considerable, however. It is too small a platform to mount any significant ranged weaponry, and the Helcat lacks a mouth or claws in which to attack enemies. Helcats in melee are an interesting thing to watch, the cats combat each other with body slams, and 'punches' from it's blunted feet. New technology is slowly reaching the Helcat, however. New generators and increased weight capacity is allowing the Helcat to carry more and more weaponry. Most effective of the new variants is a highly effective sniper type, mounting a considerable scoped beam cannon on it's back, it is dropped from Whale King transports into battle areas, where it serves as a suppression sniper and taking targets of opportunity. Of course, this too has drawbacks. The sniper cannon adds considerable weight, so much so that it is incredibly difficult for the Helcat to run or manuver in any effective fashion. When the battle turns, or the Helcat finds need to run, the sniper cannon is dropped from the chassis, marked with an implanted phosphor flare or a more stealthy location chip, and the Helcat takes off at full speed. The gun is retrieved at a later time.

I am taking Zoid requests. Anyone have a zoid they want to see vectored? I'm bored and need more porfolio bulk.

Thanks a bunch. I took a look at your stuff. Have you ever played with gradient maps? I think you would like it.
