This is for the Planet-Zi contest, where we had to color Mirzer's Blade Wolf. I went a bit overboard and just re-did the entire thing in Illustrator, then made an alternate pose to mess with in Photoshop with that cool snowscape. It was hard to think of a good color pallete. I HATE when people pick like five primary colors in twenty shades, throw it on what's supposed to be a graphic or technical peice, and say it looks good. x.x I like to stick to a limited pallette, for several reasons. 1)It tends to look better. 2)I have the working short term memory of a hamster, and it's easier to keep track of three swatches then ten, and 3)It was one of the first things Mrs. Hain and Mr. Owen taught me in 10th grade. That, and the rule of three triangles.
What is everyone's facination with puting a fuckton of pointy things on a Zoid? Yes, they look insuferably cool, but come on, Mirzers. Does he need little stabbers on his feet? And WTF is with the Soul Tiger claws on the front? I hate the Soul Tiger for that, those big icky claws. Completely off balance, make no sense. At least the Sword Wolf (the real stabby wolf zoid that Tomy made) looks usefull. Moo-moo Liger with his giant sword is pushing it a bit. Everyone's gonna be really suprised when these melee superiority zoids get taken out by a Guysack with a long range rifle.
Yeah. I settled on a two-tone pallete after a bit of wrestling with the ide of having the high armory bits be a lighter green, but it was easier to go with green and white. Thanks for the comentary, Zink.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
